Sample Questions for GCs: Read the parable in Luke 12:13-21. Where do you find yourself storing up treasures for yourself, but not being rich toward God? Do you feel the same pull to take it easy and coast like the man in the parable does? We see from Scripture that the main motivator toward missions is a desire to see God’s glory. Do you feel this stirs you toward building up the church and making Him known to those around you? Or does the glory of God seem like an abstract and difficult concept to grasp? Read Isaiah 42:8. What does this tell us about God’s glory? What are some other texts or examples you can think of from Scripture that tell us about God’s glory? Given that God chose lesser known disciples like Barnabas and Silas to carry out His missionary work, does that give you confidence that God can carry out the work that He is calling you to do? What do you feel God is asking you to be obedient in and follow Him in?
