• Series: Think with Joy
Thinking about local church strategy (1 Corinthians 16) Money Leaders Mission Questions: Look at Paul's practical instructions about giving money in verses 1-3. Does Paul recommend a spontaneous, now-and-then commitment to giving money, or something more consistent? Should Christians wisely manage their money and make sacrifices to be financially generous? Why or why not? Do local churches need just a pastor or two, or a wide variety of leaders? What do we know about Timothy, Apollos, Stephanas, Fortunatus, Achaicus, Aquila, and Priscilla? How many of these leaders were traditional pastors? Can a local church thrive without many faithful leaders? Why couldn't Paul be in Corinth? How does this chapter help us see that the mission of the local church is making disciples of Jesus together, not just being friends together?
