Gospel Community Vision & Strategy

Watch this video and listen closely to understand the vision and strategy for Gospel Communities:

There are three kinds of Gospel Communities to join. They all have the same components: Bible, prayer, listening to others, caring for them, building relationships, growing in Christ.

What makes them different is the focus of each one. They all put a different foot forward, so to speak.

Connect GC - Emphasizes relational connection, praying for one another, staying connected, and walking out life together for a season. The sermon is still reviewed and applied through some simple questions, but more time is given to relationship than content.

Study GC - Emphasizes Bible study, biblical literacy, digging into the Word, and growth in understanding Scripture through studying the sermon more deeply, working through a book of the Bible, or doing a book study that's approved by the elders. There is still relational connection and prayer for others, but more time is given to the content.

Shepherding GC - Emphasizes personal application of the Gospel to routine parts of life like: how to develop new desires, how to break a habit, dealing with worry and anxiety, navigating personal conflicts, etc. There is still Bible study and relational connection, but more time is given to personal application. These groups will be capped at a smaller number of people and will require more vulnerability.
