How can a church have attractive holiness? 1.) Pick wise partners 2.) Be God’s people 3.) Cling to promises 2 Corinthians 6:14 - 7:1 Isaiah 43:1-7 Questions: 1.) Read 2 Corinthians 6:14. In the original Greek language of this verse, Paul is using the metaphor of two oxen being mismatched in a yoke. One is trying to go the right direction, while the other is pulling away. How does this image help us understand the importance of wisely choosing our friends? 2.) Read 2 Corinthians 7:1. We are told to cleanse ourselves from impurity so we can be holy. If we try to grow in holiness by just avoiding bad things, will we have an attractive holiness that points people to God? Why or why not? 3.) Read Isaiah 43:1-7. How do the promises in this passage help you remember who you are so you can courageously work on cleansing away sin in your life?
