Can you think of a time in your life when you were numb to God because your heart was enslaved to something in this world? 3.) Read Jeremiah 2:32. God feels a deep, passionate love for us, like a husband for his bride on their wedding day. When we forget God by prioritizing many other things in front of Him, it weighs on His heart, just like a husband who misses his wife because she's away on a trip.
