Read Luke 1:30-33. In this moment, Mary's life changed forever. This wasn't her decision, it was God's plan for her. Think about how much this changed her life! What are some major moments in your life, that you didn't choose, that have changed your life? How has God used that in your life? 2.) Read Luke 1:38. Mary's soft heart of submission to God is beautiful. Where in your life do you need the faith and obedience to speak these words over yourself? 3.) Read Luke 2:34-35. Mary was the mother of Jesus, but that didn't exempt her from being a sinner. Her soul would be pierced by Jesus' ministry, and the sinful thoughts of her heart would be revealed. What does this teach us about how much we need to be saved from our sin? Is it enough that we just know a lot about God or do a lot for God?
