How do we experience the hope of heaven now? 1.) Jesus is ultimate 2.) Jesus is enough 3.) Jesus is love John 14:1-11 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Questions: 1.) Read John 14:1-7. Jesus tells us in verse 1 that believing him is how we keep an untroubled heart. What promises do you see in these verses? What do they teach us about who Jesus is? If we believe these words of Jesus, how do they help us stay untroubled in our hearts? 2.) Read John 14:8-11. What did Philip not understand about Jesus' identity? Do we need anything or anyone in addition to Jesus in order to know God? 3.) Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. When Jesus returns, the dead will be raised, and all of God's people will enjoy the new heavens and new earth together with God. Heaven will be a community experience, not a privatized, individual experience. How does the local church help us get a taste of heaven now?
