Thinking about our credibility (1 Corinthians 2:1-16) Knowing Jesus United to Jesus Set apart by Jesus Questions: Read verses 1-5. Paul did not show off his depth of knowledge about God. Instead, he practiced a kind of "knowing" that highlighted his weakness and need, and demonstrated the power of the Gospel at work in his own life. Why is this simple, personal knowing of Christ so much more powerful than just sharing lots of facts? Read verses 10-12 and the end of verse 16. How is it possible that we could tap into seeing the world with the mind of Christ? Do we tap into this resource through prayer and meditation as often as we should? Why is the Gospel a foolish mystery to people outside of the faith? How should we pray for our unbelieving neighbors?
