Thinking about spiritual maturity (pt 3)

 • Series: Think with Joy

**AUDIO ONLY** Think with Joy – The Gospel brightens everything 1 Corinthians When Paul taught the Corinthian Christians how to think through their problems, he showed them how robust Christian thinking always leads to joy. And this joy comes to those who make a practice of thinking through their faith because the Gospel brightens everything. Thinking about spiritual maturity (1 Corinthians 3) Where we are Where we must go Where we will go Questions: In verses 1-4, what does Paul mean by calling the Corinthian Christians "merely human?" Is he aiming to tear them down by saying they are still drinking milk? Is it important for us to be honest about the areas in our life where we are still on milk? Look at verses 11-15. How do these verses lead us to have a big vision for our life? Is it desirable to be the person described in verse 15? How do these verses help us want more than just a do-the-minimum, survival mindset? How do verses 21-23 lead us to think with joy about our future? If we fully invested our hearts in believing this daily, how would it lead us toward deeper peace with others and rest with God?
