• Series: Heaven
How does this “new fuel” of the resurrection motivate me today? 1.) Dirty fuel 2.) The grace of God 3.) Restoration, not consolation 1 Corinthians 15:1-10 Luke 1:1-4 Questions: 1.) Read 1 Corinthians 15:9-10. Paul said he worked harder than any of the apostles, but he wasn't driven by pride. On the contrary, he considered himself the least of the apostles. Paul was fueled to work hard, not by pride or self-interest, but because of God's grace in this life. When a person uses pride or self-interest as their fuel for motivation, what are some of the toxic byproducts that grow in their heart? 2.) Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. This is the Gospel message. Paul says it is most important. The Gospel proclaims the death and resurrection of Jesus to save us from sin. How does the Gospel lead us to have both humility and confidence like Paul? 3.) Read 1 Corinthians 15:5-8. Jesus resurrected from the dead and appeared to many. Resurrection means restoration: All things made new. How does this hope help us move forward when life is difficult?
